Smartthings is everything I've been needing from Wink. Just set it up and using WebCore to make the automations. Its refreshing to be able to write complex rules for automation.

CAD, since you undoubtedly are reading this, the hub is only $50

Uh oh, those sales must have ended. Samsung had it just a couple of days ago as a few other stores. I got the hub and a sensor from Target for $60

It goes on sale all the time if you are willing to be patient.

Yeah it looks like every other week it goes on sale. The kit usually goes from $250 to $150.

Of course the week I wanted to pull the trigger it wasn't on sale. But I went on eBay and found it brand new for $125.

CAD has already stated “RIP Wink” on this board.

Not sure he has come over to Smarthings but he is not a Wink fan anymore.

Wink just sent an email touting its compatibility with Sonos, and we all know how much he loves Sonos.

I’ve been thinking of switch to ST once I move into the new house. My primary concerns are really just Alexa, Ecobee, and smart switches, along with some fairly basic routines.

As for webcore, Ive been setting everything up in it. It so easy to duplicate automations to quickly update them for a different switch or to copy others people flows. I need to do some more reading on it though. Looks like its stressing the smartthings cloud...also,think I lose local control on all those automations.
