So does he come back? Is he welcome? Has there ever been a bigger dumpster fire than Tenn is now?

I'd like to know what he's telling that juco OL

I commented on the thread about this last night. It's funny to me that so many on the RB were ready to crucify AT for "betraying LSU" when Traore decided to take a weekend visit to UT with his friends- and now we find out AT isn't even (and may not ever) officially be at UT. Our premature melts in this fan base are glorious.

So you think he wasn't the one who orchestrated that? Pfffft. Just because he didn't sign the dotted line doesn't mean he wasn't recruiting from us.

Do we need to "welcome him back?"
Did he ever officially leave?
Did he ever officially leave?

Did anyone see any public comment from Coach O confirming AT leaving?

I wonder if it had to do with Todd Watson being there. Maybe too many cooks in the kitchen? I don’t know. But it is interesting.

If this is so, doesnt him recruiting one of LSU commits to a school he is not even employed by, make the melt of his betrayal more justified?

Sooo he’s still employed by LSU and recruiting for us...?

There is zero actual evidence that he even did this. We have no clue how Traore's visit to Tennessee came about, what Austin's role in it was, and if Traore was ever even a remote possibility to flip.

He resigned from LSU.

Thanks- wasn’t sure. What a bizarre situation.

I hope he finds a way back to Baton Rouge.

So many act like the sky is always falling. You can’t fix that

Oh, he is coming back, but I would assume they are going to tell him "three strikes and your out!"

Bring him back if he wants with less power, his old salary, and severe penalties for leaving.
No problem. With the guy wanting to go home but if all what has seemed to have happened is true, then I don’t think this guy will ever be a GM. You don’t resign your current job until all the details of your new contract are ironed out and the signatures are in place. Instead you have this quagmire of a situation where he will be less useful now that he won’t be able to directly recruit in Pete’s place.
Overrated guy but could still be of value to the program.
