Worst part about traveling for work is having to sit through awkward, miserable, never ending dinners. I don't care how good the food is. I'd be much happier picking up take out from somewhere by the hotel and eating it in my room while watching TV.

I typically travel once a week but have been gone M-F the last 3 months. I’d like it a lot more if I was single, but then again the only people that stay at hotels constantly are crusty white dudes.

At beginning of my current job they flew us up for training 3 times for 5 nights each. We’d get out at about 5:30 every night and could do whatever we wanted. I’d usually get a pizza, watch tv in the room, head out with friends for a few drinks. After that I’d come back drunk and eat the rest of the pizza

When you travel alot at a minimum once a week you need to do your own thing

Traveling for work depends alot on where for me

High travel job I was going to big cities and it was cool. Got fat though

Big 4 job I was going to rural shite holes

All of this. When you travel for work, you get nearly zero personal time. So, you're missing time with your family and generally can't do what you want to do on you 'off time' before/after working the entire day away from home.
