Net Neutrality was comparable to a Gay Marriage Ban

Gay people already couldn't get married in states that put in place gay marriage bans. The ban was nothing more than a symbolic way for hardline conservatives to feel good about themselves.

The internet didn't change when net neutrality was put in place in 2015.

Trump should light the White House up like a rainbow tonight to celebrate the end of more intrusive government.

You're one of many on here who doesn't understand what net neutrality even means.

Gay Marriage and Net Neutrality were both never voted on. So much for our republic.

Neither was anything Trump has claimed as an accomplishment

Gay marriage hasn’t affected my life in the slightest. Net Neutrality will though.

Both would pass in a large majority of states. NN would pass in every state.

ISPs like Comcast and Verizon could no longer hold content providers hostage like they had done to Netflix in 2014.

You should tell the ISPs that spent millions to lobby for its repeal that nothing changed

The Comcast/Netflix example is not the one you want to use. Netflix was in the wrong.

You mean to tell me companies want less government regulation and all up in their business-ness?

I predict porn sites will be the first to be hit. Though the good folks of the South and Utah use porn than Northern and Eastern people, they profess to be disgusted by it. They'll miss their porn, but can't complain too loudly about the loss because of embarassment. Get ready for censorship. This is almost certain to happen.

In theory, a New York based company with strong labor unions such as Verizon, might decide to block access to right wing wackadoodle sites such as Brietbart and Alex Jones. I doubt if they will due to potential political blow-back, but they might. And now they are allowed to.

Naturally content sponsored by whatever ISP is being used, will get favorable treatment.

A Reuters poll says 80% of voting Americans favor net neutrality.

None of this will happen.
