There was not a good reason for Brennan, if he is at talented as some claim, to see so little playing time.
That's the typical mindset of a fan who isn't satisfied with anything less than a championship, giving up on this season and focusing on "next year". Coaches do not think that way. They got Brennan a few reps to be ready for service as a backup this year. He'll get plenty of reps in the Spring.

I think it’s widely known that Narcisse has an issue with consistent accuracy. That’s been reported all season.
Reported? Do you have a link to those reports because I keep up very much with LSU and I have not seen anything reported like that? Now, I've read in several articles where several players have reported that Narcisse has the strongest arm on the team, but nothing was ever said about accuracy.
Nonetheless, a lot of dual threats are not very accurate passers but still pretty damn strong football players. Look at Tim Tebo who won the Heisman. That guy never could pass. Cam Newton while at Auburn could't pass worth a crap, but improved dramatically once he got to the Panthers. Jalen Hurts wasn't an accurate passer last year, but was still very effective. He was a much better passer this year and will probably be off the charts next year. JT Barret at Ohio State was never a good passer, but he still was a very good footbal player that led Ohio State to a lot of victories.
Hence, I'm willing to give up a little passing accuracy as long as it is made up by other attributes. As dual threat quarterbacks in college football are much harder for defenses to defend against and especially in the SEC.

I think it's a little farfetched and silly to be talking about a kid's accuracy when he hasn't played in a game yet in his LSU career. People tend to do that on here a lot, start criticizing a kid that hasn't done anything yet at LSU. Auburn (Malzahn) wanted Narcisse badly and I know why because the kid is a phenomenal talent when healthy, and I think he should be completely healthy when spring comes around this new year with having sat out this past season.

Ppl close to Lsu has said LN has looked solid in practice accept on shorter routes. But he’s healthy and athletic and makes plays with his feet.

Well I have always heard that the SEC is only on step away from the pros and dual threat QBs , relatively speaking, don’t exist in the pros. Heck by your own admission and explanation most dual threats QBs are not good throwers.. wow you and I actually agree on something.. I knew deep down we have always been in agreement!!! Thanks for clearing this up Space...

Wasn't that Anthony Jennings with the 6 Heismans? We need hcb for verification.
Yes it was Jennings.
I was the one who started and ran that campaign

There is difference between throwing a QB in early and giving him real playing time to allow him to get his feet wet in meaningful SEC action. We were not playing for the west or playoff birth. There was not a good reason for Brennan, if he is at talented as some claim, to see so little playing time. Lets hope the staff corrects that in a bowl game.
Terrible take. Just fricking terrible. And it’s “berth,” you dumb frick.

Practice =/= a game.
That said, I think he has a bright future ahead of him.
Nailed it. From a player: he was a deer in the headlights in the huddle. Hopefully it will get better with more reps/time.
Also, Narcisse is struggling with the playbook - not uncommon. He won’t see the field until he picks it up, or they put in a RPO package for him.

Good we'll need him next year. I hope he takes the reigns and never looks back, him or anyone else. I just want a QB, could care less what his name is or where he came from. I just want a top 3 SEC QB.
I want LSU to improve in the RZ/GL situations, and I want our WRs to become polished WRs. I would like our LBrs to grow leaps and bounds from last year. If all this happens, LSU will be looking at the first time in a long time that we can compete with anyone in the country.

Y'all have to remmember that Myles came in the fall not the spring. He gained weight, learned the playbook, and got as much work in as possible, and was almost as good as Etling who had been here 3 years.
Actually I thought he ran the offense better. He didn't know the players strengths and weaknesses, like Etling but that's to be expected. This guy did a lot in a short time ON HIS OWN. Now he has the team with him, behind him, and IMO he's going to improve by leaps.
He will still have lots to learn but he should be much further along than he was this year. He just seems like the type of guy that accels at what ever he does. I believe LSU finally found their QB. He's gonna work until he gets it right. We haven't had that in sometime. GT

185/280 (66.1%) for 2,854 yards, 30 TDs and 7 INT's. Auburn faced 9 teams in the top 50 in total defense and 6 of the top 22 in pass defense. Yeah, he sucked.

You mean we have a great QB that looks terrific in practice?

Yeah, getting playing time for your second string guy at QB is never a good thing and unheard of in college football when your team has a big lead.
The more playing time talented guys get the more likely they will be better prepared when their time comes to play a bigger role, you dumb frick.

“ couldn’t pass iworth a crap!”
You must be thinking about a different cam than the one I saw at Auburn. While what make him most dangerous at Auburn was his ability to extend plays and run with the ball, The guy definitely showed the ability to throw the ball. imo

I listed just the dual-threat QBs off the top of my head that I knew weren't good passers to make my point that passing isn't the only consideration. If it were, then players like Tim Tebo and Nick Fitzgerald never would have played. I intentionally left off all the good passing dual-threat QBs like Dak Prescott that really could pass because it really wasn't conducive to the point I was making.
Apparently, you couldn't quite figure that out. Oh well.
