I think Centenary/Shreve. is the only scholarship program in La.

I don't know what that means/implies.
ETA: Read up...I don't understand, we didn't seek out club soccer to 'win' or because we wanted to 'pay' more, we did it because my son was better thanhis rec league counterparts (small town MS) and he wanted to play all year.
It's difficult to find quality coaches though, we are definitely on a play to win team. Most of our kids are satisfied with wins and don't get fundamentally better like they should...so we end up playing kickball against a play out of the back team like the Blackhawks.

I am pretty close to this organization. I'd say roughly 20 min drive to where they practice, host tournaments etc.. I've heard both positive and negative about the Blackhawks. From what I understand some of the more competitive teams have become highly political regarding on who plays on what team in a given age group. Again, as an outsider I have no first hand experience of this simply hearsay.
I regisrered the little guy for the BRSC outdoor camp and for now I believe we will be sticking with TSA until or IF any change is warranted. I personally know the director of HTSA so it wouldn't be hard to converse with him and discuss a transition.

Thanks. I registered the little guy and just a few days later received an email that it had been canceled.
Just going to enjoy the holidays and wait it in until TSA spring session. Summmer camps will have the registration numbers to host camps in sure.
