Some stats (per 36 minutes)

Karl-Anthony Towns (22 years old)
20.4 points, 12.0 rebounds, 1.7 assists, 1.3 blocks, 52.5% shooting,

Joel Embiid (23 years old)
27.8 points, 13.1 rebounds, 4.0 assists, 2.2 blocks, 48.7% shooting

Mystery Player (23 years old)
19.6 points, 15.8 rebounds, 1.7 assists, 2.6 blocks, 67.7% shooting

Embiid must become more efficient. Shooting 48.7% is terrible for a big. I added the mystery player because I think it's someone who never gets mentioned with these two, but he seems to be in the same stratosphere.

It's mind boggling to me how bad KAT is at defense. He has become an absolute liability on that end of the floor. I mean look at this play: Twitter... Example 2

It's like he must hate Thibs or something because you've got to be tanking in order to be that bad.

In related news, I wonder if we look back on this thread in a couple of years and learn that KAT is actually the injury prone one once Thibs runs him into the ground.

So, Clint Capela "seems to be in the same stratosphere" as Karl-Anthony Towns and Joel Embiid?

That’s pretty dumb. Olajuwon shot 51% from his carer and wasn’t hitting 2.6 threes per game. If you take off his 3 point attempts it makes a difference.
