I mean, the blowout by State and loss to Troy justified those melts all on their own. You don't really have to invent reasons to be pissed off by the hire.
That said, he's the coach of LSU and I hope he never loses another game. But lets not pretend that the melts haven't been justified.

Box I agree that those losses justified melts but I don't concede that those losses justify people still melting today after the 6-1 finish to the season.
The OP nailed it when he said that those losses are not to be accepted and that the turn around gives him some leeway going into next year but if he loses games like that again next year then nothing will save him.
The turnaround earned the chance to prove he can do better next year. He won't be afforded the same chance again.

So what would you be saying if O somehow won the west this year and made the playoff... would you still be bashing the hire???? Btw there were many better choices out there when we hired him... however he did much better here than he did at ole miss... agreed????? That's what everyone was bringing up about the hire is that he sucked at ole miss and was gonna have the same kind of record here... they had tons on here saying we were on our way back to the Hallman days...
