Way to ignore the point dude

I'm 6'4", and my legs and back are stiff for days after even a short flight.
There are lots of guys on teams much taller than me.

And travel is not just the one hour flight as some other guys said. You're talking about massive men in busses and airports and airplanes all day crammed into spaces designed for much smaller people. Add in hotels and luggage and being away from your family your bed your house your food your routine. It all drags on you. Aren't you exhausted after a full day of travel? Now imagine how you'd feel doing that a day after playing in a pro football game. Yes travel matters
Haven’t looked at other matchups this year, but it’s not like the saints flew to Shanghai. ATL is like a one hour flight

I’m not a TNF supporter, but I think the injury take is sour grapes and pretty sure the data backs that up. My gripe is that it’s tiring and messes with routine...can’t expect these guys to perform at 100% on 3 and 4 days rest and odd practice schedules.

This thought is just off the top my head...Why not have it set-up that the teams who are on a bye, the weekend before, play on Thursday night?
When there are no more teams to have a bye then the Thursday night stops for that season.

I wish you could. You THINK you’d be fine when at 30 years old, IF YOURE FORTUNATE, you retire to another 40-50 years of pain. Of course a pussy like you who dowwnplays this, would wind up strung out on OxyContin and living behind a dumpster.

If you're mentioning the one your flight then you literally ignored everything else in my post. I addressed that exact issue. Everyone knows that flying, even first class charter, is a full day of travel even for a short flight. That wears on people. Especially large people with nagging injuries, but please continue to ignore the point if my post

You think it’s an all day affair to fly to Atlanta from New Orleans? Have you ever made that flight? It’s doesn’t take a full day for a civilian let alone NFL players on a chartered flight. They show up, do a quick TSA screen, then they are on the way. I’m sure other TNF match ups have more travel requirements/longer flights, and that’s messed up...but flying MSY to ATL isn’t as big an issue as you are making it out to be.

What were the symptoms Kamara and Kelmete demonstrated that lead to the diagnosis of a concussion? Were they cognitively disoriented or impaired in motor function? Does anyone release that sort of info?
Kamara' legs went limp.

3 days of prep and rest as opposed to 6.
practice and walkthroughs aren't tough on a body (99% of the time, something like Watson's injury is freak and rare).
overuse injuries exacerbated because they didn't get rest (muscle/tendon/joint issues)
then having to travel too?
We've ALWAYS said it, not just last night as an "excuse".
Sherman's achilles was a ticking time-bomb, but having to play on TNF only worsened his odds of injuring it. He gets 3 days of extra rest and he can likely get away with playing on it.
And before some moron says, "well don't play on it then", its the NFL, 16 game season, each game is already important as it is....worsened because most TNF games are divisional and those are even more important.

That's not entirely true.
We had a shorter week AND we had to travel.
Which brings on another question. Why have the Saints only played 1 home TNF game in the history of TNF games while playing 7 on the road? That’s just ridiculous to say the least.

Did Drew suffer an injury? Just asking because he was short arming throws and bouncing them off the field turf all night. Of course that’s not when he wasn’t throwing crucial interceptions into double coverage!

That was a bad throw, but a worse playcall given the situation. Drew had a good game overall, I don’t place a ton of blame on him (unless he’s the one that called the pass play
)
