As a black man living a middle class lifestyle with generally Protestant upbringing, let me another perspective.

While it is true than many non whites migrate to the US, it is influenced by what is offered

1. More access to jobs
2. More access to education
3. Freedom from totalitarianism

Other countries simply lack the resources or more often the government stability to provide a better life for its citizens.

We fought an entire Revolution against the Crown to break the shackles of the Old World monarchies.

These are very good reasons. However, none of them change the fact that racial oppression has been used via the government to commit atrocities.

In defense of the US, it was not the first nation to do so and has made many steps in recent decades to alleviate social oppression (Jim Crow, religious persecution, interracial marriage bans)

All countries have a right to their own identity. The US still had me the baggage of the old world , but people have arrived to make it s better place.

True.

Also why whites wish to immigrate. This is also probably in importance of cause.
#1 should be rigorously garded.
#2 should be humanly and strategically offered
#3 should almost exclusively be offered to the enemies of our enemies who’s lives are in jeopardy.

Generally I agree with most of what you have posted.

What is accomplished by continuing to dwell on past atrocities...which have occurred throughout history and every race has been victims at some point.

not just many steps...we lead the world... and no country in history has been more "progressive" and racially accommodating

Are you suggesting the "people that have arrived"are responsible for the progress of the last half century....please clarify
