I don't know if I would have agreed with Roosevelt's politics if I lived at that time, but I do know the man could give a speech.
People just don't say things like this anymore, and it's sad.

Because the news media would eviscerate them for it.
Trump says things like that though. He doesn't give a shite about the media because instead of praising him for being a strong leader they shite on him for "powerful rhetoric".
