Heard he has a bad attitude and struggles from the free throw line.

Really hope this inclement weather doesn’t cancel any games tonight or tomorrow.

9. St. George Green (6) - Looks like St. George is on the bubble for the first time in a long time after going 2 and out in their own tournament.
BB03 right again

3. St. Aloysius (1) - The most talented team in CSAA, but haven't been tested yet. That changes with the game of the week against Mercy on Thursday. Would likely move back up to #1 with a win on Thursday. They handled Ascension Catholic in their only regular season game to date.

Is this a thread about JrHigh basketball?
Not a flame, serious question... I’ve never heard of these schools

Would love to be able to see a game between the 95 Cougars and that 97 St George team
Personally I think the 96 cougars were a better team. They went toe to toe with STM in an epic final that year.

Agreed. Cougars had a strong 5 year run from 95-2000. But 96’ was probably the best team.

Why is this league so important?
Posted on 1/16/18 at 5:14 pm to Mr. Hangover
It’s a feeder system to elite Division I universities.

Personally just wish St Aloysius had an AD that cared more for Basketball as this team has some talent but doesn't get the tournament reps needed IMO..

Is there a way to gamble on these games? Asking for a friend.

The Uhigh tourney still has a few spots available from my understanding... A few of the CSAA teams that like to challenge themselves have gotten in. Not sure why St. Aloy wouldn't get in. They are basically in the same neighborhood.

1996 St. Jude wasn't even the second best team that year; it was 1996 St. Aloysius.
STM
St. Aloysius
St. Jude
OLOM
1996 STM was the best ever. We played them and 1997 St. George in the same season (97STG played up for the STM tournament). 1996 STM would have run 1997 St. George out of the gym.

5. SJV (5) - Gave up the lead and lost to CHS.
Well balanced team, but have they hit their ceiling at 5?
Answer: not so fast my friend
St. Jean Vianney Tourney started tonight.
Schools involved: St. Alphonsus, Runnels, Most Blessed Sacrament, Victory Academy
Tonight SJV def SAS 35-25. #42 led SJV with 14. SJV held SAS #10 in check with great defense by #34
