They also fired their GM which to me opens the door a crack for Saban, bc presumably he could have influence on that hire.

It's well beyond time to just accept that Saban will never leave Alabama. I don't know why some of y'all still do this to yourselves every year.

Saban is not going to a team that needs to be rebuilt, especially with question marks at the QB position. He's too egotistical to take on a rebuilding project in the NFL. That is a fact.

If a perfect scenario opened up for him, I could, however see him making the jump. For example, if the Texans fired O'Brien, he'd have a team with a legit QB and ridiculously talented defense, plus a top tier WR in place. That is a team he could put over the top.
