And you missed the point of MY post. I don't give a shite about how many coaches are on the payroll. When he says "A 9-3 season is seen as a success", it needs to be put in context.

No I didnt miss your post or your point. And who gives a crap if you give a shite about how many are on the payroll? Who the hell are you?
And no, it doesnt need to be put in context. 9-3 is 9-3.

You were responding to his post and even quoted him. You didnt start your own post with your own context for the season.

Obviously, finishing 9-3 after being out of the playoffs, in September for the first time in recent memory, is a strong close even if they didnt play anyone worth a shite except for Auburn and the Gumps. No one is taking that away from the team or the staff. 6-1 is 6-1.

But at LSU that used to not be good enough to get any love in here. It was win the west and beat Bama or it was just another wasted season with more NFL talent than most.
Now these "Put it in context" types of post like yours are in here every day.

Why do we now make excuses?

Yeah, well that's only happened twice for LSU in the 11 years since Saban arrived in Tuscaloosa so 8 of the 10 previous years weren't much different than this year.
