Auburn more deserving than Bama for playoffs

Before all the mouth breathers start slobbering 1 loss vs 3 losses....
Record vs top 6-
Auburn 2-2, Gumps 0-1
Head to head
Auburn
Conference Standing
Auburn
Division Standing
Auburn
SEC East Opponents
Auburn (UGA, Mizzou) >>> Alabama (tenn, Vandy)
Vs MSU and TAMU
Auburn blew out MSU and won by 15 vs TAMU > Gumps won both games by one score
Vs LSU
Bama win >>> Auburn loss
Improvement over season
Auburn steadily got better > Bama struggled late
So the only two areas where Bama is more deserving than Auburn are vs LSU and number of losses. The first is irrefutable ....but the number of losses begs the question what would Bama have done at Clemson and vs UGA twice???
We can only guess. On the other hand we know when they were both on the field LAST WEEK with the SEC West title on the line, Auburn was clearly the better team. And they are no doubt the more deserving team.
And for the mouth breathers who can't help but fixate on "3 losses vs 1"....UCF!
If Wisconsin loses The fourth spot should be between Auburn, USC, UCF, Ohio State and maybe even Wisconsin if it's a close loss. No more free passes for the Gumps.
TL/DR edit #1 - The whole thing is everyone believes it is absurd that Auburn would get in the playoffs - yet it is blatantly obvious that Auburn is "more deserving" and beat Alabama in last Saturday's "eye test" that was broadcast nationwide.
TL:DR #2 top 3 SEC teams Head-to-head-to-head Auburn - 2-1 Georgia - 1-1 Alabama - 0-1

TL,DR : LSU fan doesn't want Bama in playoffs

Neither deserve to be in the playoffs. Auburn just got their asses handed to them fair and square. Sadly it did Bama a lot of good to lose the iron bowl so they can sit idle at number 5 and get bumped into the playoff by Wisconsin losing

LSU - forgiveable
UGA - forgiveable
Clemson - forgiveable
good argument OP, to be honest
Auburn lost to two playoff teams and a top 25 team

They lost almost a quarter of their games while the other team lost less than 10%

I can agree with that.
And reiterate that AU is more deserving than Bama, and if AU shouldn't get in the Gumps most definitely should not.

watching Ohio State-Wisconsin on Fox...
talking heads are all over Alabama not deserving of being in playoff...
Dave Wanstadt (sp) brought up point that conference championships should mean something and that two teams from the same conference would mean that an expansion to 8 teams should take place (sound familiar...echoes of 2011-12)

The travesty of the 2011 season has brought us to this.
Alabama finished THIRD in it's conference. They were second in their own division to a team that played a much more difficult schedule, beat them head to head and had more top 6 wins than Bama had top 25.
Booger McFarland wants to scream "1 loss vs 2" with Bama and Ohio State.....well of that the case them UCF has no losses
It's obvious the ESPN hype machine is pushing Bama. Just like the Fox announcers pushed the Big 10
Champ.

Well committee always says 4 best teams regardless of record.
And since Auburn easily beat Alabama...they should be in over Bama.
Nothing more obvious than losing straight up.

The gumps want the best 4 teams. Auburn crushed them. You are right.

Exactly. All Auburn's loss yesterday proved is that UGA finished better than Auburn. 8 days ago Auburn beat the Gumps, ergo right now at the end of the season it's obvious Bama is only the third best team in the SEC.
I'll repeat that I don't necessarily think Auburn should be in either and that proves that the Gumps certainly have no business in the playoffs.
