I've had the same Titleist driver for over a decade and I love it, but I know I'm losing distance by not playing some new technology.

And my dad said he'd get me one for Christmas

So, what are the best out there right now? I have high swing speed, high ball flight, and usually play a slight draw (or hook ). I have heard endless things about how great Taylormade is right now, but what else is there?

And where (in Nashville) should I go get fitted for one?

I haven't been this excited in a while about Christmas

Get fitted. I played Taylormade for years and ended up in the Epic SZ

Which Titleist driver do you have?

You should definitely go get fitted for the right shaft. That makes the biggest difference. Then you can get whichever driver you think looks best with that shaft since all heads are pretty much the same in performance

OP, hit them all. This driver will most likely last you a while as tech isnt really changing all that much anymore. I swing the Ping G400 because I actually saw improved swing speed numbers with it. But give them all a shot.

The only one I'd be hesitant with is the new Cobra. If you're a high launch guy, your miss will really spin with the new all milled faces IMO.

You don't need to hit anything. Just get an M2.

get fitted, where in nashville i dont have a clue. if you are gonna drop $ on something you will use for at least a few years, and your case maybe longer, you would be wise to get a fitting.

If pops is paying for it, get fitted for a shaft. That’s where the biggest benefits will come from.

I’m a high swing speed and high launch guy too. Had a stock shaft in my last driver and after getting an after market shaft, my spin rate is down and launch angle is down. Actually getting a little bit of roll out for a change and more control while adding 20 yards.

everyone makes good drivers now. Go put them in your hand and see what you like. Then pick a few that you like and go hit them. Ping, Calloway, Taylormade, Titleist, Mizuno, they all make good ones.

Gotten a few rounds in with the new toy.

It is LONG. I can’t believe how much technology has advanced in drivers over the last 12-14 years.
