Same. Kind of turns me off of their brand. Like they needed to wait this long just to tell me that they weren't going to honor it. Could have told me that the first day after they got hundreds of orders huh?

I don't do social media stuff but you guys who do should light up their Facebook page.
A lot of people shop BlacKFriday deals for Christmas presents. If you would have known they were not going to honor the price you could have spent that money on different sales that day.
So in summary company has BlackFriday sale gets tons of orders then 2 weeks later says we are cancelling that order because our sale was too good for even us but we will let you reorder at retail for delivery after Christmas.

I was a little pissy that they were back-ordered and might not arrive by xmas, but this email really chapped my arse.

Back-order notification 3 days after the order, cancellation TWO WEEKS LATER. WTF Surefire

Streamlights were delivered yesterday (same day) from Amazon.

Lighting shite up all over the house. Dog, wife (no pics), neighbors, planes.

I just had to spend more money on streamlights with 2 day shipping (Christmas gifts) because surefire waited until the last minute to say that they weren't going to honor their error. Surefire can eat a whole bag of baby d!cks.

The Facebook thread was a great read. A bunch of idiots asking how to place their order for the Black Friday deal, then everyone jumping on them to explain bait and switch. Now I'm kind of glad I missed out on this too good to be true deal. I didn't realize, and learned from reading on FB, that they have pulled this type of stunt two years straight on black Friday, and possibly 3 years straight. The only surefire I own is one I bought over 10 years ago. I've gone with Insight for my gun light, and other brands for flashlights.
