Last good Democrat to sit behind the Resolute Desk. Kept us out of a war with the Soviets, paved the war for America to get to the Moon, just a badass in general.

Last POTUS who could inspire young people to want to serve and help others both at home and abroad. Peace Corps still exits today.

"Ask not what your country can do for you. Ask what you can do for your country."

Strong words.

Executive Order 11110, the closest we've come in American history to ending the Federal Reserve.

The guy either had balls the size of Rhode Island, or the intelligence of a garden gnome.

Either way, I salute you Mr. President.

He was absolutely the lone shooter. There is no magic bullet. He fired the shot from the Texas school book depository

Acted alone? I’m 50/50...lived in Soviet Union, contact with the Cuban embassy, some eyebrow raising contacts in New Orleans...gun to my head? He acted alone. But for a destitute kid from New Orleans, the years leading up to the assassination are more than suspicious

#1 If you believe in a conspiracy then you believe that Ruth Payne was involved. She had to be since she was Oswald's connection to get a job at the Book Depository. You also must believe that Roy Truly, the man who hired Oswald there, was involved. In 54 years there has never been any evidence that either has had any connections to the FBI, CIA, mafia, or any other group conspiracy theorists point the finger at.

#2 You also have to believe that Jack Ruby, running late as it is, decided to risk missing Oswald all together when he stopped off at Western Union to wire one of his employee $25 to pay her rent like 3 minutes before he shot Oswald. You'd also have to believe that Oswald himself was involved in his own end as the only reason he hadn't been transported long before Ruby arrived at the police station was because he asked for a change of clothes.

No. I also wouldn’t call being a gun for hire a conspiracy in the sense we discuss conspiracies. If anything i think he could’ve been a “what the hell” Hail Mary for the mafia, Cubans or even Soviets. I certainly don’t think he was clipped by a cabal within the United States government.

But from what we do know he certainly has the personality of a lone wolf fame seeking shooter...but again, how many people living in the ghetto make those kinds of connections and then shoot the president. I don’t buy the commensurate measuring of cause and effect that fuels conspiracy thinking but that’s not what drives my suspicion here. A poor kid from New Orleans with those kinds of connections however brief and seemingly innocuous kills the president. One of those contacts is butchered and her house set ablaze before testifying...which may have been unrelated because the mob didn’t want her talking about the mob and not because the mob didn’t want her talking about how they had JFK killed

The circumstances create suspicion because man are they fricking weird

The physical act of the assassination was 100% only Oswald.

But I really do think Marcello and the other old Dons of the day were involved, even possibly in cahoots with the CIA.
