That truck would get stuck in mud, sand or wet grass faster than you could say 26 year old VP.
Trucks are tools. Just like a shovel. They aren't some fancy pants notation for the distribution of wealth.
Dude probably can't even drive a stick.

They want to?
The "you need to dress like I do, drive what I do, live like I do" fascination is the white persons version of "get back on the plantation"

You want to pull heavy loads buy you a Chevy Silverado. You want to swallow heavy loads, but you a Ford F-150.

the hell they aren't, there's a couple of Cowboys players that live near me that have Peterbuilts and Kenworths as custom made pickups, I guess you'd call that nouveau riche though

And those Cowboys are posers.
Wealth distribution, noted by vehicles, is a poor mans mentality.
Buy a presidency. That's wealth.

The only answer I can come up with is, "truck nutz".
Why do you care?

Im 40.
I bought my current truck in 2008. 4WD manual transmission.
The dealer looked at me like I was crazy.
Your post is absolutely true.

The vast majority of people don't need a truck for practical reasons.
Some buy for comfort. Some buy because they feel safer. Some buy because they feel like they can drive it forever.
A LOT of them buy for status.
Pray tell, what vehicle could other people buy that would be acceptable to you?

I like my truck. It has a comfortable cab and I can throw crap in the bed. Hauls three kids around easily. Also can load up the back with whatever. '10 f150
I may get an SUV at some point but not without having an old pickup on the side.

Exactly. Or the famous, “can I borrow your truck Saturday to move Billy out?” Uh frick no, you can do it in your highlander
I drive a truck because it’s practical for me and my needs. It’s affordable, I use it for work, and I like the comfort. I also like doing my own yard work and things around the house. If I owned a Volvo I couldn’t put dirt or mulch in the back but what do I know? Those same people will call you on the weekend to borrow your truck. Yeah, nah.

LOL. If you only knew me IRL. I'd probably be the most unorthodox person you've ever met.
Only brought it up as a topic of conversation.

I get followed by F250's all day and they ain't towing shite. Should've bought Tacoma's to save on gas and $

You’re getting downvotes but you’re right. Ford is the go-to brand for those who want a truck. Those who need a truck tend to look elsewhere.

If Ford doesn't pay to replace my defective rear window that they replaced 8 moths ago, it will be my last fricking Ford product.
