Sounds about right: a classless arse for a bunch of classless asses. Perfect fit for Auburn.

This coming from a fan of LSU

Just curious, why would Jimbo Fisher going to Auburn be "laughable"?

It wouldn’t be laughable at all, but Jimbo won’t be available by the time Auburn is looking, assuming Gus leaves. He’ll either be at A&M, or he’ll have secured his facility concessions from FSU.

Have we had an update on Jimbos beef with FSU? I thought it was about staff control, no? FSU won’t upgrade facilities to peer levels. They never have.

So Jimbo is going to leave the flagship school in florida, in an easier conference, when UF is in complete upheaval - to come to the SEC and to the GOATs in state rival?

0% chance.

At least aTm is the only SEC school in the state and its "big brother" is a historically under-performing program.

Florida St is not the flagship of the state of FL. He could definitely leave FSU for a number of reasons. For one thing, Jimbo can't get top level assistants to come to FSU.

Why would Gus bolt for Arkansas in the first place? Do people really think that Arkansas is a better job than Auburn?

He's from Arkansas and he may be tired of being on/off the hotseat like musical chairs. I don't think anyone is arguing Arkansas is a better job objectively.

If he loses to Bama this weekend, I'm sure he'll explain why he took the Arky job in his press conference middle of next week.

If he beats Bama this weekend, but loses to UGA, he'll explain it in his press conference the following week.

If he wins the next two games, we may never know why he is very strongly considering making that move.

Generally no, but Gus might be more secure, happier and better off there in the long run.

He turned us (LSU) down two years in a row.

He didn’t turn LSU down last year, Alleva pulled the offer when Sexton tried to negotiate. This pissed off the BOS, and is a major reason why Alleva will be gone soon.

It’s actually pretty well known that Alleva pulled the offer.

Define "a better job"...

Gus would be paid more at Auburn? nope

Gus would have more stability at Auburn? nope

Better quality of life there at Auburn? nope

But its all about this "prestige" of the program right? Yeah that sums it up. Auburn is a better job than Arkansas.

If auburn wants to keep Gus, he will not he paid more at Arkansas.

Gus will be at arky if:

1. Auburn just isn't that into him

2. He wants to be in Arkansas for family reasons

Your program is not that special.
