Then they probably both make the playoffs 1. Alabama 4. Ohio State

Bama wins out they knock both Auburn and Georgia Out playoffs

Clemson and Miami will play each other for a playoff spot and if Oklahoma wins out they definitely a lock to get into the playoffs.

1. Bama
2. Oklahoma
3. Clemson
4 Ohio State

or possibly

1. Bama
2. Miami
3. Oklahoma
4. Ohio State

or

1. Alabama
2. Oklahoma
3. Clemson
4. Miami

Odds on OSU making playoffs +325 and winning it all 20/1

ETA: Only problem in this scenario might be if Wisconsin falls this week and that takes away some of the bounce they need to sure up a #4

Somebody must be bored at work. We've had this conversation already....And no, OSU will not.

Ohio State is probably the last team Alabama wants to see in their first game of the playoffs. They match up well with each other.

You say this without any explanation. If the scenario above plays out then Ohio State becomes the 1st ever 2 Loss team in the playoffs. That’s pretty much a fact.

Any team is the last team Alabama wants to see right now

I'm just hoping Bo's transition to LB goes smoothly.

I rather see an undefeated UCF than a 2 loss PAC-10 school get into the playoffs

It's not though.

I actually hope Miami loses a close game to Clemson by like 2 points. And then the committee still puts them in. Just to see all the OSU folks epically melt. That will be the highlight of this season.

No rational Ohio State fan should feel screwed if they get left out. Losing to Iowa by 31 should count as 3 losses.

I'm hoping for the following:

OU losses to WVU
TCU losses to Tech
OSU beats OU in the CCG

Michigan beats Wisconsin
Michigan beats tOSU
tOSU beats Wisconsin

Stanford beats USC in the Pac CG

That essentially eliminates three conferences.

SEC
UCF
Clemson
Miami/Bama if Bama doesn't win the SEC

Well right now OSU is 9th in the rankings. Under the OP's premise, Auburn (6th), Georgia (7th), and Wisconsin (5th) will lose at least 1 of their remaining games. So that should put us at 6th.

If Notre Dame (8th) wins out, they will finish 10-2, while we'll finish 11-2 with a conference championship. My guess is we'll move ahead of them. So that puts us at 5th.

The issue then comes down to Miami v. Clemson. So if it comes down to one game, it seems absurd to act like it wouldn't happen under the OP's premise.

Two BAD losses. OSU does not in ANY WAY deserve to be in the playoffs. Iowa put up 55 POINTS on them. Iowa got 66 TOTAL YARDS against Wisconsin.

what blows my mind even more is that people 2 weeks ago said that Wisconsin(if undefeated) shouldn't make the playoffs. Now you are trying to tell me that if OSU wins that exact same conference(with 2 losses) they will be in. Someone guide me through those mental gymnastics

I don't disagree with you, but if Ohio St wins out you can see it coming from a mile away. They'll be in.

ACC Champ
SEC Champ
Oklahoma
Ohio State

There's your four.

You won't see this, but it would never compare to the melt some of you will have if they get in.
