Asking for approval is one of the worst things you can ask for around here.

point is stop being emotional with your opinions. Furthermore, Saban was playing against a weak Alabama team not a team that has pulled how many straight number 1 recruiting classes?

Successful expectations vs win loss. Ok. Sounds reasonable.

those things are damn hard to win. I make the best gumbo ever created and have never won one.

the "best" gumbo definition is truly and individual one. I make the dark, dark, roux and my wife (ville platte) makes her gumbo blonde. she hates mine.

oh, is this thread about football? damn

He won a national championship at LSU in three years when LSU was basically irrelevant in college football dummy.

So 9-3 his 5th year with Randall at qb is good and 10-3 with etling is bad?

Never said that. Said Miles had a better winning percentage than Saban at LSU. Said Saban only had 1 season at LSU with less than 3 losses.

Please tell me you understand that an LSU team going 8-4 is different than one going 8-4 now

I don't understand your point

WTF is your argument here?

Saban took over a program that was completely irrelevant with barely any talent to work with and won a national title in 3 years. Then his last one he was checked out in the end because he was heading to the NFL

harder to go 8-4 now because LSU plays a team that has more talent than any other team in the history of college football.

Its also difficult to be 8-4 considering the conference is trash this year with a major turnover of head coaches about to happen
