I'm watching this doc right now. you may enjoy

and i have like 29k left

i could pay it all off today but i'm weighing the benefits of the interest deduction (want to keep trying to max it out if possible) and the interest rates (i can invest my money at higher returns, which is +EV)

Because most 18 year olds are men.

Make the payments you piece of shite. I have 35k and will rack up a few more thousand the next couple semesters. I would be at 45k but I got lucky and had the opportunity to work offshore this past summer and paid 10k of it plus this semester from that.

Its not financially efficient for me to pay it off. I am thinking if i declare bankruptcy and wait 7 years it will wear off.

Paying for college is for dumb people who couldn't get scholarships.

With the exception of those with degrees that allow them to have lucrative jobs. Med school, law school, etc

Student loans are like Columbia House. You don't really have to pay them.

I don’t believe federal student loans get discharged with bankruptcy, government is going to get there money on way or another
