Now, by one simple tweet... All the focus will be shifted back to him

Breaking News! POTUS is an big fat attention whore.

Nice job to the OP, who's showing off his keen grasp of the obvious and gunning for a spot in the MSM.

it's definitely bait, and people will jump on it.

It's exactly what he does. He will either get the focus on himself when he wants it or take it off when he doesn't.

I just don’t see how the POTUS begging for thanks from 18 year olds is anything other than weak.

You are obviously too stupid to see what is actually going on if that is what you think.

the 46D Chess is that he called Lavar and told him to make sure his kids gets in trouble while they are both over there so he can get him out of dodge....

serious question - does trump play just regular ole one dimensional chess?

the only thing i found on the googles was this quote from last october. while discussing the trans-pacific partnership, he erroneously states ‘“Trump went on to say that with multilateral pacts like the TPP, "you can't terminate -- there's too many people, you go crazy. It's like you have to be a grand chess master. And we don't have any of them."’

meanwhile, there are multiple sources confirming past presidents love or disdain for the game - https://en.chessbase.com/post/which-us-presidents-played-the-royal-game--1

ESPN this morning actually showed the tweet and the response was, "We don't have to give him credit because he already does it for himself."

It was a decent retort and true, but it's also an admission that they didn't want to or plan to credit him with anything.

No, if you think about it, it is a terrible fricking response.

"We don't have to do our jobs because we know Trump will do it for us."

And they are right. The more the media refuses to do their job, the more politicians with social media, bloggers and other alternatives fill in the void.

It's like their saying "frick it, this job is hard. I just want write what I already know and think."
