Why didn’t any of the women come out against Moore during the primaries or before?

Why coincidentally all now? Mo Brooks is probably mad af because this definitely could’ve helped him then.

They weren’t paid to by the left and media until just recently

They just had to come forward in October 2017, after 40 years of silence. No reason, just want to do the right thing.

Because #metoo wasn't a thing then. And there wasn't as much money to be made vs now.

Hillary wiped out the coffers. Dems had to raise more cash for payouts.

40 years is an insanely long amount of time to sit on something like that. Why not wait a couple more weeks until after the election?

This is clearly a vast Left wing conspiracy out to get Roy Moore. First they removed him from the bench twice. Then they stopped his foundation from paying taxes. Then they arrested his son 9 times. Then they made him say America might’ve deserved 9/11. Now they’re organizing a network of people in the most conservative part of the state to make up allegations of sexual impropriety.
Roy dindu nothin....

I get the fact that some victems take years if not decades to confront their abuser.
This is called a smear campaign.

The original 4 women in the Post article didn't come out.
A 3rd party contacted the Post and gave their names and stories and the Post contacted these 4 woman.
If that is to be believed.

The majority of this board would still doubt their stories.

The timing is why I'm not buying the stories.
Roy Moore isn't some newbie to politics. He's one of the most controversial figures, not just in Alabama politics, but nationally. Yet as many times as he's run for office--and won--none of these stories came out.
Not even right after he won the primary in a bit of an upset.
But with roughly a month to go--and with his opponent losing by double digits--NOW people are coming forward with 30, 40 year old stories?
And expecting him to simply roll over and quit? The same person who told a court what they could do with their rulings, and has been cited TWICE for contempt of court?
If it smells fishy, it probably is.

The timing seems to be the key but the strategy is to get the claims out into the media, thinking a lot of people will now doubt him (not that he seems to be the most stable and wonderful candidate). There is no burden of proof, no rules of evidence and no opportunity to confront the accusers. This is not about whether he did it, it is about putting doubt into the minds of some of the voters. And, of course, in the current environment, on any sexual type claim, the accused seems to be, in the media including facebook and similar sites, guilty until proven innocent.

All this.
The claims don't have to be true; they just have to be out there because nobody remembers outcomes...just the allegations.

Timing seems to be right in line with last year's timing of the accusations against Trump. Someone is pulling the strings.

Supposedly so are McCain, McConnell, Graham, Corker, Flake, etc.

The Democrat playbook is to drop bombs one month before the election because they think that's when it has the maximum impact. That's what the term "October Surprise" means for Presidential elections. And why they dropped the grab em by the pussy tape in October.
