ALL those POS's that take a knee during the National Anthem are a disgrace to America. I am a very avid football fan but they made me choose between the USA & NFL so that choice was simple, USA USA USA

Let’s see, so far this yr. 500 People, mostly black, have been murdered in Chicago mostly by other blacks. For 2016 and 2017, the number is almost 1300.
I wonder why Colin is not all worked up over that really incredible number??
Let me make sure I understand this kind of retort - police brutality cannot be criticized/protested against until black on black crime is solved?

I don't see what this has to do with the troops.

You don’t see what Veterans Day weekend has to do with the troops?

Some people don't understand how the national anthem became synonymous with the troops. Arguing it's disrespectful to the country is one thing, but the troops is quite another.

Our military defends the Constitution, the same document that gives us the right to peacefully protest, amazing that some of you don't get that. You will happily give away your freedom to the first Putin that comes along! History always repeats because people are fricking stupid and easily manipulated.

You don't see what the National Anthem has to do with the troops?
Who pays the NFL to play the National Anthem at every game?
Who typically presents the colors?
Who performs the fly overs?

Then you must be completely dense.

He’s got a guilty conscience. He never had the same struggle most black kids have:
Two parent household, both parents successful, Grew up ina good neighborhood, etc. He gets drafted by Frisco and gets leftist influenced.
It’s a darn shame he had a good childhood.
Sheeple are everywhere.

Is kneeling at a high school game disrespectful to the troops?

Google says you are full of shite.
The links are too numerous to provide.

It turns out that from 2011-2014, the Department of Defense spent $5.4 million in contracts with 14 NFL teams for flag ceremonies. The National Guard got in on the action too, and gave $6.7 million to the NFL for the same kind of thing from 2013 to 2015.

I don’t see anything about the NFL being paid to play the National Anthem. Because they don’t.
Like I said, the other things you were correct, the Anthem you’re full of shite. Tell that to your “Booyah” blow buddy, too.

I wish someone would ask Reid where the reports he is referring are and what is the content of report...or maybe it's just MSM??

i'm correct about all 3 points.

But if you are willing to concede that the troops most often presents the colors and the troops provide flyovers, isn't that enough to connect the National Anthem to the US Military troops?
I was responding to Powermans, (a man who has admitted to drinking his own sperm) comment that he doesn't understand how the National Anthem is connected to the troops.
So stand by your cum guzzling friend. Birds of a feather...................

According to numerous sources, and verified by IR.net, the US Government actually paid the NFL in order for them to bring players onto the field and stand for the national anthem during special ceremonies. Up until 2009, NFL players sometimes remained in their respective locker rooms, especially during prime time games, while the national anthem was played on the field. Then starting in 2010 this all changed, as players were required to come onto the field prior to the playing of the anthem, during every game, while the live television audience was able to see the players’ patriotism on display.
