Latino Victory Fund To Double Down On Portraying Republicans As Neo-Nazis After Northam Wi

Unreal:
White people... Do you feel like you are being targeted?
quote:
The Latino lobbying group responsible for the infamous anti-Ed Gillespie ad portraying the Virginia gubernatorial candidate’s supporters as neo-Nazis has announced it will double down on its radical advertisements after Gillespie’s Tuesday loss.
“Our ad was an honest reflection of the fears facing communities of color in Virginia and across the country. It was designed to raise Latino voters’ awareness of Gillespie’s bigoted campaign tactics, and it accomplished that goal,” Cristóbal J. Alex, Latino Victory Fund president told Buzzfeed News Tuesday. “Faced with vicious, racist attacks, we usually turn the other cheek or point our finger at the bully. This time we threw a jab to the throat and we will continue raising our voices wherever and whenever racism rears its head”

Go for it. I only saw a handful of people who defended that crap. The ad was pulled after 1 day. Keep that stuff up. Northam was going to win VA anyway.
Personally, I don't give a shite who won in VA. I don't live there and their decisions impact me in no way. But running ads like that bring national attention and it will have an effect. Just not the one they are hoping for.

Why is it that when minorities start using the same scare tactics to their base, that the majority has used for years it's a problem? America is a country that has always used its citizens fears to push policy

Can you honestly say that that has never happened before? Southerners love their history, so are you saying that a white man in a truck has never ran down a minority?

This can't come as a surprise, as far as they're concerned the ad worked. We can only hope that they go national with it.

They should. It gave them a victory at the end of the day. It was the GOP's job to blunt that message and it failed.

What relevance does this have? Is this the standard for justifying bigotry? If one person of a class of people has ever committed some heinous act...the entire class is guilty? You sure you want this to be your standard?
