Wherever you saw that he said he meddled and it cost LSU the Troy game, you also saw where he said he gave Canada the reigns back in the 2nd half. Before any meeting took place and Chris Landry published fake news about what occurred during said meeting.

I guess you conveniently forgot that part about the 2nd half.

Craig helped bring in the 7th rated class, and according to you the recruiting coordinators deserve more credit than the head coach.

Craig was more of a detriment to the 7th ranked class than a help. It may have been higher than 7th if Stephen Guidry was able to sign like the whole LSU staff were certain would happen until they didn't receive the fax. Craig is not at LSU for very good reasons.

2018's class is looking to be LSU's worst in a decade

It's November. LSU should sign two 5-stars and if Anthony Cook and Tyson Campbell come to LSU that will be four 5-stars. Not to mention the 5-star WR from California that is visiting this weekend.

Little early to melt over this year's signing class.

Who's going to be held responsible for that?

Signing two or possibly four or five 5-stars and some 4-stars? I guess Coach Eaux would be held responsible and would receive all of the blame.

We all know you will do everything you can to deflect blame from Orgeron.

Not if he deserves it. He deserved it for the Troy game. Blaming him for made up shite and what idiots think may happen in the future is just stupid on their part. I guess I just like pointing out stupidity.

Chris Landry reported this news before anyone else. Your shilling for Orgeron is getting embarrassing.

Highly doubtful that Alleva had ANYTHING to do with the turnaround. That dude has shown zero ability to make tough decisions or strategize about the future of the program.

More than likely Coach O and assistants got together and decided on a plan forward and a way to work together to achieve common goals.

There is a thread on this board about it. Search Chris Landry and it should be one of the first threads to come up. If you do look at it, click on the links someone posted about Landry stealing from another writer. Oh hell, I just typed the guys name in a search and some of it came up. The Rant thread has other information as to why he has a beef with Eaux or LSU.

LANDRY DENIES PLAGIARISM
quote:

the close similarities between portions of Lombardi’s November 17 column, and Landry’s column from four days later.
quote:

not a single time, never, the November 17/November 21 example that Brandt cited in publicly accusing Landry of plagiarism earlier this week.
quote:

“We are disappointed that Chris Landry was given a forum to admit to plagiarizing our content and chose not to do so. We have clear and unequivocal evidence of Mr. Landry publishing our material hours — and in one instance — days after our doing so.
quote:

andry’s decision to copy our material almost verbatim without our consent and without attribution to our writers has already resulted in his termination from Sportsnet.ca following their inquiry and may further result in our pursuing legal action against him.”

Yes, that was in the article also. I was just pointing out that the poster had conveniently forgotten to mention that info. Just so happens the information would make his point of the meeting seem like total bullshite to most people.

What a complete load of horseshite.

BTW...do I need to go into why, or can we all just agree this is stupid as frick?

For one thing, he hired the Co-ordinators. A head coach is supposed to be the Chief Executive Officer. He doesn’t have a position to coach. His job should be to oversee, delegate and recruit. That’s what Ed seems to be doing now and the “company” appears to be generally performing better.

So basically, what you're saying is, is that you say the goal posts are moving but don't actually have any proof to back it up.

No...I'm saying I and others have given countless examples of where one thing was a reason to go ape shite with the previous regime and is now reason to celebrate with the current...and I'm not going to fricking retype it all out for you every single fricking time because you find it fun to pretend to be too stupid to remember the counter to your position.

What I'm going to do is act like you've been part of this discussion for the whole season now, and when I say "goal post moving" I'm going to expect you to think back to the 15+ times I've spelled out exactly what that meant and the HUNDREDS of times total it's been done by everyone else on this board. I will, however, be happy to expand when there are new and exciting examples of shifting the expectations lower to help with the PR of the current staff. Sound good?

Well yeah...but then you're probably one of those assholes that expected LSU to hire a guy with a .500+ career head coaching record when replacing Miles though...right?

Lower those expectations and you'll fit right one in...

What have I made up? Thanks in advance !!!

You're melting over a recruiting class that isn't even complete yet. Why, because you are making shite up and want to believe it so it must be true and is going to happen in the future.

Get on the Oeaux bandwagon or go root for someone else. For Christs sake, give him a chance. The Troy game is/was a black eye but by all means, lets support this team and coaching staff.

Yo go cheer for someone else. I’ve been a fan since I can remember, and I’ve donated a fair amount of money, no just to the athletic program, but to the school as well.

mmmm...I guess, maybe... but that's not really what I as getting at. I think being he is a D line coach and other factors, I think his limitations exceed those of most who get jobs at this level. That is my concern.

I think there is some hope among some that he's the next Dabo. That is very rare but I hope so too.
