Who holds the SEC refs accountable? Why can't they be called out? I'm talking, set them down before an investigative panel with the game video and have them try and defend all of their no calls on the Bama offensive line. The Bama bias was in play once again. One penalty only on Alabama (really?) and that was only because Arden Key was horse collared and twisted to the ground like a steer in a rodeo. Also, Hurts would never have taken off on his third down 11 yard run for a first down had not Corey Thompson been held right as he was about to put a body on Hurts deep in the Bama backfield! I could go on, there was plenty more. I guess the Bama brand, kept strong, means more revenue for the conference and we should all be good boys and just let this crap go on. If that game was played last night in front of an NFL crew, LSU wins it on the scoreboard! LSU beat them in every category except the score board and the ref bias! I've been watching this ref bias crap for years and nothing ever gets done to correct it. What the hell goes on behind the curtain in this secret ref society?

LSU lost because they could score touchdowns and had putrid quarterback play. The outcome of the game wasn't decided by the referees. Just let it go.

So what penalty made Battle miss a sack with White standing there clueless as Hurts rolled away for a gain?

A bunch of calls were missed, but we had our chances and we blew em.

Hand fighting is one thing, but outright holding a receiver that has you beat has to be a flag. Also Fitzpatrick interfered with Chark when he injured himself. The play where Toliver got beat the ball hit the ground. Guice was down before he got stripped.

Stop. Refs missed calls for both teams.. LSU lost the game, refs had no part in it.. Get over it.

I know that's part of being fans, refs and conspiracy theories.

Look, we got away with an interference in the endzone, where if called they probably get another TD instead of a field goal and if you want to be honest, we got away with a lot of holding too. We got some calls.

Bama dropped some too, a couple on third downs that would have kept drives alive.

Bunch crybaby fans. I saw as many missed LSU PIs as Alabama penalties.

Stats were
1 Bama Penalty - Holding

5 LSU penalties
3 - False Starts (all painfully obvious)
1 - Facemask
1 - Block to back on punt

If anything, the refs swallowed their whistles for both teams.

Allow me to retort!
Alabama gets preferential calls from the refs...just like Kobe, just like LeBron, etc., etc. Studies and research consistently suggest that big name sports entities (be it team or individual) always receive preferential treatment in sports refereeing where subjective reasoning is involved. It's human nature, judgement calls typically favor the better player or team. This has no doubt benefitted LSU against some teams. Downvote until your fingers blister..LSU was a little bit the better team Saturday night and if we could have had droids calling the damn game, we win on the scoreboard! Peace, out.

Still waiting. All I see is opinion supposedly based on studies and research which I haven't seen. Though I do agree that it appears that superstars get favorable treatment, I think home teams get that more than "big name" teams. There were plenty of missed calls, but that went both ways. For the one block in the back LSU got, I saw at least 2 more that weren't. I saw several more LSU PI calls missed than Alabama PIs

. Statistically, outside of scoring, that is probably true but it was marginal. Starting field position was a major killer for LSU, in large measure due to how good their punter is vs ours. And our punters are not bad, theirs is just that good. The biggest killer was overthrown/under thrown passes. Etling missed on 2 sure touchdowns, possibly a third.

People respond with name calling and changing the subject. I guarantee you players and coaches recognize bad calls from the side lines and voice their complaints during the game.
A call or 2 may be justified but when they get every call that's a trend. Suspicious I might add.

Good stuff Mr. Domingue. I would love to watch this game in a film room and break it down. My purple and gold glasses did see some infractions on LSU, pass interference a few times, one of which would have been a touchdown for Bama. However...just from memory of the live broadcast, the Bama kid that we blocked in the back on Chark's return had no chance of touching Chark. On the other hand, we were about to get a deep sack on 3rd down, when we had 3 defenders surrounding Hurts (late 3rd quarter I think). Instead, as Corey Thomas was about to clutch Hurts and be joined by his 2 teammates, he's hooked downward and inward and Hurts bolts for a first down. That's two huge reversals of fortune that went Bama's way! I won't waste our time on other lesser stuff I saw. I just get the screamin red arse when we're going toe to toe with these guys and we can't get an even break!

I do too, but I try to take a step back and be a little objective. It's very difficult at times. And I do think Bama gets away with holding quite a bit, and I think it is evidenced by the fact that their all world O-linemen seem to have penalty issues when they hit the NFL almost to a player (could be my P&G glasses kicking in there ).

I Appreciate the civil feedback
