Ever noticed that the loudest boycotters weren't watching anyway?
Well the protesters were never being oppressed anyway so maybe that’s where your cynicism should lie.

You need to Seeeek a life as everything you post is politically oriented.

I know a lot of people who are done with the NFL, and what I find to be vast majority of haters have one thing in common with Vin Scully--which cannot possibly be a coincidence:
Most of them are bitter old white men who aren't in the coveted demographic anyway and will be dead within 10 years.
Know how I know you’re lying...........
In your little millennial world it may look that way but there are MANY 30-40-50 year olds that have been done with the nfl prior to just this year.
And about that “coveted demographic”,.........that demographic is more manly than any of you limp wristed millennials will ever be. And that includes those millennial “democrats” as well. You know exactly who you are.
What will you millennials do when you don’t have anyone around to wipe your snotty noses and support your sorry lazy asses? Will you finally get to live in your unicorns and rainbows utopia world?
Will you turds finally get everything for free since you all feel you’re entitled to it?

I don't even know who this is, so I don't care what he does.

Oh well, I'm sure he's watched a lot of them in his time anyways.

I don't get how kneeling for the anthem is equated to shitting on the military. Do they have some ownership over the anthem and flag? Are they especially sensitive?
I understand why many people are unhappy with the kneeling, but not why it has anything to do with the military.
This. Been in Air Force 29 years and in no way does knealing disrepects me. Its not the military anthem.

Players aren't kneeling to oppose the military, sure thats obvious. What they are protesting is the USA. They are protesting the very country that has given them the opportunity to be millionaires. They are protesting a great country that HAD a serious race problem, but has since taken huge steps to create an equal society.
People are pissed because they don't believe the issues they are kneeling for are real. So, you got someone protesting the USA over an issue you don't believe in. They are doing it while our national anthem is playing. A song that represents millions who have bleed, suffered and died so that people could be free, equal, safe happy.... Sure these players have the right to kneel, people have the right and ability to do many things, but what you do has consequences.
I can go on and on, but race is an issue in this country. It's a non issue that the media has spun into a money making shite storm of an issue.
Pretty tired of turning on the tv and getting hit over the head with "racism". Don't get it twisted into me whining. As soon as the race topic comes up on a channel, click. I'll find something else to watch...

Nice, clipping parts of my comment. It's cool... I'll clarify for you.
There is not a race issue in the country.
Through the media and their race baiting, they have created a fake race issue. Are you follow so far?
Through their antics they have pitted people against each other over non issues, and through their manipulation you now have a race issue.
It's really not that complex...

I can't quit watching the saints but outside of them I don't care about the NFL. Even then I don't respect most of them but I doubt they care until it effects their bank accounts.

When you lose an all-time sports great like Vin Scully, you've lost the war

its because the anthem is a poem, which became a song, about soldiers dying to defend our country, and even through a night of living hell, and merciless bombardment, the dawn comes to show the glorious sight of the flag of our country still flying proudly overhead, for which they are bleeding, dying, and sacrificing everything they have for
the anthem and flag are inexplicably connected as a symbol of our military and their continued sacrifice to keep us free and safe. it cannot be seperated in any way just because a few racists made a mistake and refuse to admit it so now they want to claim its not connected to disrespecting the military and all those who died for out freedom.

by your own ignorant comment, obviously you dont

While true, it doesn't validate:

While you may think the black community has had plenty of time to get it together, it hasn't been that long since they weren't allowed to piss in the same trough as your grandpappy. There will continue to be a "race issue" in this country until those as simple as you on both sides stop expressing faux outrage over anthems, SC6 and Confederate flags and work on making progress toward actual equality.
If you stepped out of St. John Parish for more than five minutes, you would understand that.
