Awesome to have Culberson home again. Played with/against him my whole life. Still amazes me he has been around this long in the league(let alone at all)

Pretty creative trade by aa. Gonzo dfa. Culberson will be on the bench. And bmac and kazmir are lotto tickets that can maybe be dealt at the deadline that allow some of the kids a little more time. Also sets us up to have money to spend next off season

Couple of notes:
1) Huddy and Joe Simpson to the Braves HOF

2) We are still in on Yelich and Realmuto

I'd give up a good portion of our top 10(without including Acuna) to land both Yelich and Realmuto.

I wonder if we include Julio in a deal to lessen the impact on our system. Our system is in trouble in a couple of years

I think if we acquire those two, we keep Teheran because we'll then be legitimately competing. Losing Teheran would be counter productive imo. I also think if we made the trade, we'll push hard for a big arm(Arrieta) and possibly Holland to close.

I really want this to happen.

Think I read we are Greg's preferred destination. Still think 2019 is the target date

I disagree. I mean it's possible, sure. But we still have a lot of talent in the lower minors at the moment. Really depends on how we draft/trade during the next two years.

Yea because your influx of talent is limited by 50%. You basically have to hit home runs in the draft every year. There is no bad draft good ifa class years to fill the system out. We saw how well wren did. That is what worries me.

Prado AND Chen's contract makes it not even worth it anymore lol. If they want to do a deal like that, I'd take on the salary and send them a corn dog back in return.

I hope so as well. He had a good track record in Toronto. But one or two bad classes and we are in trouble. Hate to say it.
