Les took a QB with creativity/ability and stifled him ...

Lee has LSU undefeated one year, threw one int in the Bama game and I do not think he ever was on the field again.

Didn’t he have Mullet man as OC at Okie State? What kind of offense did he run?

Just for the record, you don’t need a DT QB to win NC. You need a mobile QB IN THE POCKET WITH FEEL. Ben, Brady, and even Watson now isn’t about all that running. Granted Watson can run if needed as Ben at times has proven.
It is about read and react. Protect the QB and win the LOS and you can win.

I was as big a Les Miles fan as there was, and what happened to Lee after the 2011 bama game pissed me off to no end. But Lee's stat line for that bama game was 3 completion in 7 attempts with no touchdowns and TWO interceptions, not one. There was no way in hell LSU was going to win that game without a mobile QB. And that's what Jefferson gave LSU, a little bit of mobility.

I don't fault Miles for pulling Lee out of that game. I do fault him for completely abandoning Lee for the remainder of the season though.

And Brandon Harris was his dual-threat QB that we didn't spread it out for, how say you Les Miles!!!

Yes he will, what he didn't elaborate on is what "spread that sucker" out means to him. What that means to less is to run the offense with fullback and one tight end, instead of 2 tight ends!!!

Its not about whether the QB runs, its about the THREAT of the run that keeps defenses honest. And in the modern CFB environment, you absolutely DO need a DT. In college, you scheme for Cam Newton totally diff than a guy who is simply "mobile". Im talking CFB not NFL.

He's beat Saban 3 times and been in position to do it two more times.
Yep, but he just didn’t have the ability to not place second in the one time it mattered most.

Blahhh

Let me get this straight, what you’re saying is you can’t win in college with Tom Brady and the Pats type of offense

Protect the QB and get the ball out first DOESNT EQUAL DUAL THREAT DUMBASS AND NO YOU DONT NEED IT TO WIN.

WTF are you smoking.

Please leave.

Completely false. Completely false about being dual threat

Sounds like it is not Les that isn't sure of his sexuality.

In the last 10 seasons 3 duel threat QBs have won national titles. Alabama the most dominant college football dynasty maybe ever has won 4 national titles since 2009 and not once have they done it with a duel threat QB. The facts are against your argument.
