started a new dynasty a month and a half or so ago:

2013: Western Kentucky 13-1

offered WVU, took it

2014: West Virginia 10-3
2015: West Virginia 11-2 (won rose bowl)

Now Florida is offering me their job. I want to take it but man i feel like jumping around so much isn't realistic/would get the coach a ton of backlash. I'm OCD about this kind of stuff. What should I do here? I'll go with whatever the majority opinion is.

I’m curious how you would receive backlash.

Well my coach stability rating would go to F in the game, but again I try to be as realistic as possible and irl there would be a lot of backlash I'm sure.

I wasn’t aware of any stability ranking. I coached at UAB for 6 years before moving to Florida. They’re still a powerhouse now well after I built them up. But I play to build up. Not necessarily to have a long standing relationship with a school. Once I get a team to 6* prestige with 99 rating across the board, I’ll move on. And that usually takes a few years.

Yep in recruiting

I also put a lot of house rules on myself when recruiting so It's really hard to get a team to all 99s

Just pretend you knocked up some cows (<— that was supposed to be coed* but I’m gonna leave it ) while in WV and you’re trying to GTF before shite hits the fans and your life is ruined.. just act like you gave the bitch some hush hush money and GTF outta town

Pretty realistic IMO

Go one more year with WVU and see what other options come up. I'd wait until Texas or USC open up (if ever).

Need this game to be xbox one compatible ASAP. Getting tired of waiting.

If we're being honest, I would think if that scenario happened irl, most coaches would go to UF. Look at like PJ Fleck. If he had that success at Minnesota this year and next year, then Michigan offered him and he went, would people be like wow he sure jumps around a lot? Nah, its a smart move.

Now, if you want to hold out another year for some other big schools, I could kind of see that.

both are in the top 5 currently and OU isnt far behind/won the NC the year before so none of those opening up soon.

looking around Michigan could be open soon but i don't know if thats a better job considering my recruiting house rules (1/4 to 1/2 of all targets must be from the state the school is in, 1/4th must be in states the school is touching, last 1/4th can be from anywhere)

I think if I stay at WVU i'll prob be there another 2-3 years, which is okay i suppose.

If you run by those rules, I'd go to UF no doubt. Recruiting bed will be good enough to overcome coaching stability for the first year or two, then you're golden.

ETA: Hell, chizik did it after what, 2 seasons at ISU and paid for a natty, so it can work out

yeah but he hadnt been there for only 1 year before ISU though.

I'm leaning toward taking it just bc of the recruiting.

Eh, I mean but it was two terrible years then jump ship. Nobody criticized him for leaving though as it was a clearly vertical move.

I think it would be plenty realistic. I mean, nobody just all of a sudden starts out as a HC either, so you kind of have be a little unrealistic with things.

Follow your personality man. If you’re the type to hop around, do it. If not, stay put

Well in my backstory I was with Harbs at SF then got hired as OC at Michigan and he got me the WKU job as his dad used to coach there

Well, then in that case, it would make perfect sense to go to UF

i will add that FlemLoRaps on youtube suggests, as a head coach, that you put all the points you can into your recruiting skill tree. i've noticed that really helps. this current season i'm in, i was able to fill my entire class with commits before the season ended. (1 week before conference champ games).

PerramCrowe, i linked a vid of his current dynasty on youtube a few weeks ago, will wait to offer schollys until they're heavily in favor of your school. then he'll make the offer and go for the insta-commit. sometimes it works out, sometimes it don't.
