Stanford's is terrible.

As is Oregon State's.

He may not be Heisman caliber, but he protects the ball and fights to win

I just wish he didn't look like a clock coming unwound when he throws the deep ball... and I also wish our receivers didn't have to stop or come back for balls

I dunno, I think you could do musical chairs with the QBs from Stanford, OSU and LSU and the results wouldn't change much if at all.

Etling isn't asked to do a lot. He's just on a more talented team than those other guys.

Etling is a tough kid but he’s abysmal.

So because two qbs are average it makes you happy Etling is our QB? Don't get me wrong Etling has a ton of heart and plays smart with the football but his accuracy and "carrying the game" abilities are not great. Also, i get our O line is extremely shakey this year, but even when he has time to throw you can clearly see that if the game has to be put on his shoulders (to pass) to win we are in big trouble.

The hate fest for this guy shows how immature some of the Rant truly are. It amazes me that he gets shite on before, during, and after every game and has only turned it over ONE time this entire season. We are lucky to have this guy.

Big Etling fan here. Tough kid who never loses his composure which is huge IMO. Only drawback is his timing on the deep ball that ends up underthrown

9 TD's to 1 interception...%60 completion rate. I'll take that all day

Etling isn’t great but he is leaps and bounds better than anyone we have had since 2013

he couldn't start at Purdue

Etling is tough because he can take a hit. I'd rather a quarterback that a defensive coordinator actually has to game plan for.

They showed some vintage Les Miles toss dive footage, since Stanford seems to be the only team that does it too.
