Was stuck watching CNN this morning

And I noticed one thing.
They were pushing this story that Donald Trump's campaign hired a law firm that contacted Wikileaks to try and get Hillary's "deleted" email. Then CNN said Wikileaks was "connected" to Russia, even calling it a "agency of a foreign power". This of course to CNN was (1) proof Trump colluded with Russia and (2) Russia is bad.
Right after this they moved to Hillary and Obama giving Russia 20% of uranium. Of course they could not deny this happened, nor could they deny Russia gave millions to the Clinton Foundation while this deal was going on. But the whole point of the CNN coverage was how this was a non-story "like Benghazi" as they said for example. Their whole point was it was no big deal that this had happened.
Are they really unable to see how fricking stupid hey look right now? Think about it. Let's give them the benifit of the doubt. Let's say it's true that Trump used Russian help to get elected. For that to be be bad, doesn't that mean Russia has to be bad? And if Russia is bad according to CNN, then why do they think it's perfectly normal and fine Obama and Hillary gave them a huge chuck of our uranium?

Right....but if you say fusion gps has Russian ties the left goes insane.
Also, if trump was colluding with Russia, why would he have to go to Wikileaks?

Exactly. The so-called logic of the left on these two stories just boggles the mind.

Those assholes at CNN would rather climb a tree to tell a lie than stand on the ground and tell the truth. Their ratings reflect that observation.

CNN and Jake Tapper are fake news

Pretty much.
Selling uranium to Russia - no big deal
Possibly getting Clinton data - the worst crime imaginable.
Unfortunately, like all situations like this, nothing will ever come of it.

You should have seen it. This idiot anchor on CNN was almost breathless carrying on how "everyone knows" Wikileaks are virtually an arm of Russian intelligence blah, blah, blah. It was all I could do to keep from busting out laughing.

"Facts first. This... is an apple." Lolz.
In related fake news, Krispy Kreme has now changed its slogan to "Health first."

Wow so attempting to retrieve emails about wedding planning and yoga now a big issue? Interesting strategy cotton let's see if it pays off?

Being a Leftist means MSM gives you your "whataboutism" talking-points every hour on the hour.
CNN is for senile Boomer women, and assorted others who have the same brains.

Anderson Cooper did the same thing yesterday. They spent forever going on about how it was a huge deal that Trump contacted Wikileaks. Then they shifted to the uranium story and they basically all laughed it off. CNN is so bad

Liberalism is not an ideology based on logic, but solely based on emotion.

They are progressives. They are not required to think logically.

Just to be a contrarian for a moment - no - it does not mean "russia has to be bad"
If you just consider that ANY foreign power actually interfered with out election, then that would be bad regardless if the foreign power were UK or Israel or Guam.
Now - none of the things Russia did was different than they have done - nor is it different than what the USA has done to other nations.
EXCEPT maybe for the $100K worth of internet ads - which amounts to precisely nothing.
The truth is that Clinton was balls deep in colluding with the Russians to get something - anything - to use against Trump. When all they could muster up was some hare-brained golden shower bullshite, they knew they couldnt use it in the campaign - but they did figure out a way for the OBAMA DOJ/IC swamp creatures to use if for delegitimizing the Trump presidency.

I'm being generous when I say that their "muh Russians" conspiracy theory is paper thin.
In reality, it's predicated entirely on lies, as most of CNN's political news has been for years.
