Lol so the board is only for folks who brown nose Alleva and O?
Every one, every single one of us on this board is thrilled with the back to back SEC wins.
Does it change the fact for many of us that Alleva who has made 4 football hires in his career (Carl Franks 6-45, Ted Roof 7-45, Ed O 6-2 and David Cutcliffe 56-64) has to Geaux?
With O the theory was make him a “CEO”. Let the coaches coach. Just 2 weeks ago after the Troy loss and it was apparent that the coaches, especially on O, were not being allowed to coach. He had to call a meeting to reinforce that O is the HC but the Coordinators were basically in control of their side of the ball.
It’s worked the last 2 weeks I am happy. You are happy. Every one is happy.
But this structure doesn’t seem to be one that can work long term.
You can’t have a system where the HC at the direction of the AD cedes control to the Coordinators.
I hope it works I hope we win out and make the playoffs or the Sugar Bowl.
I will be happy as anyone here if we do.
But it doesn’t mean put your head in the sand and ignore a structure that seems so dysfunctional.

Even if Ed Orgeron wins out and and leads LSU to a 10-2 regular season, an SEC championship and a playoff appearance... Joe Alleva still needs to get fired.
Giving a man with no options a legitimately binding $12M buyout is inexcusable.
Even if you're an O fan/supporter/whatever, you should realize how horrific a business decision that was, even if it works out.

I agree with NoGeaux, here. Does this make me a "nega-tiger", OP?
Starting a thread to denigrate people for not sharing your opinions, only makes you the negative guy. Why not start threads that open up discussions of opinion and some spirited debate?
I love the rant, but all too often, people jump to cursing each other out, & getting nasty and vulgar towards each other. Just either debate somebody you disagree with, OR, don't click on the thread or post and move on.
