Do you buy your shoes at an outlet? Do they hold up as well as retail?

This is what motivated this thread. I currently have a long sleeve RL polo tshirt on that was purchased from the outlet store in Gonzales. The quality actually seems to be no different than other RL polo shirts I have bought from Macy's, Dillards, etc..

I haven't bought a pair of shoes from anywhere other than zappos in at least 3 or 4 years..
Well, I did buy a pair of sperry's several months ago from Journey's in store.. But other than that.. I only go to Zappos.

In most cases it is the same merchandise

No, the answer is because it's last season's merchandise that didn't sell or was left over. You are getting the "left overs", but that's not always a bad thing.

It’s merchandise that doesn’t sell well are the original stores, out of style clothes, or clothes that aren’t in season. This isn’t complicated and not sure why you even need to ask

Also false for the most part. Most of an outlets stock are cheap clothes made particularly for sale in outlet stores.
