Wall Repair Question

What's up guys, managed to pop an anchor bolt through the wall that left a dime size hole in the sheetrock.
Went over it with 3M: Patch Plus Primer. How long should I give it to dry before sanding and reprising or paint coat?
On the container it says 30 minutes for the size hole I have, but a friend of mine says to wait 24 hours.
Looking to get a few more opinions!
Thanks

Are you in any kind of rush? It can only help to give it 24 hours.

I thought this was relating to the Trump Wall. I was gonna say we will have American citizens employed (job creation!) as Trump Wall maintenance to ensure it's in perfect condition to defend our sovereignty and borders.

Split the difference: 11 hours and 45 minutes.

I am in somewhat of a rush. I've got about 24 hours to have it covered up and painted.
I put a fan on it after I applied the spackle.

Should have gotten the stuff that goes on pink and dries white when it's ready to sand.

I'll do that. Thanks for the help!

I'd think the folks at 3M know what they are talking about.
If the directions say 30 minutes, then that should be sufficient.

So this was just a "say random times til I hear the one I want" thread?

Put a hole in the wall of my girlfriends new house. She doesn't know there's a hole in her wall. Coming back into town tomorrow afternoon.

It' sound like it's a 30 min hot mud. I would believe manufacturer over a friend.

I made a joke about putting a hole in her wall to gauge her reaction. From her reaction, it's very important that it dries quickly and I don't botch the repair.
All prayers and good thoughts are greatly appreciated!
