NFL Week 5 - Betting and Discussions

something about this line tonight seems off. I would have thought NE would have driven up to 7 by now. Most places holding at 5.5. just seems off in that the books may be exposed to pats teaser plays right now at pick or better.
The return of Doug Martin, but Lavonte David and Kwon Alexander are out. This feels like the kind of game where NE randomly comes out running the ball but gerald mccoy is a force in the middle. Keep an eye on Bucs Safety Justin Evans the rookie out of Texas AM. will be a tough task to cover gronk tonight (assuming gronk plays).
Bucs +5.5 but with extreme caution. NE is 8-3 recently ATS after a loss. tough spot to fade the pats. over may be a safer play.

I'm sort of surprised that it's that high honestly, Pats have looked like shite and Bucs are up and coming at home. I want the Bucs and the points, but the line scares me bc I feel it should be -3

new england and green bay both getting major love this season just on their names/reputations. i dont think either are very good but damn its hard to bet against brady and rodgers.

One of the gambling podcast I listen to said that the books seem to be ok with leaving the number 5.5. And betdsi has it at 5

New England is terrible and so thin (they're essentially the 2015 Saints right now) and Tampa Bay is young and athletic and should definitely win this game... but I agree that NE will probably win by 30 points somehow

Green Bay's defense is so much better than New England's right now. I'm sure that NE will fix it by November tho

i do a golf pickem for majors over on the golf board. debated setting up a MSB supercontest using the westgate sheet this week but in the end was not committed. wondered how participation would be (likely no buy in)

Cant get a feel on which team wins, wanted to bet the over, but the thursday factor makes me not want to do that either. Think im gonna go with that humphries over 4 receptions for a half unit

Gronk being out might hurt that over. Would like to see it dip closer to 50 to bet it
