Which Blade Runner version to watch?

What say you all? Want to watch the new movie this weekend, which version of the original should I watch to prep?

Good question.
But everything is minor.
The Final Cut is just a minute longer than the ‘82 Theatrical Cut.
So besides the little extras the big question is - You either want voice-over or you don't. I personally always liked the voice-over...sure people say it's lazy film-making and the studio pressed for it...but it works in Blade Runner.

Do people love the final cut because finally there will be an end to cut after cut?
That has to be part of it.
Can we finally stop editing this movie...after 7 versions?
Yes, and we will call it Final Cut, love it or leave it.
That seems to be part of the love...last man standing edit.

Rented the theatrical version just the other night so my 17-year-old could see it before going to see BR2049.
First time I've watched it all the way through since I saw a sneak preview in Auburn a couple of months before its national release. It's held up pretty well considering. Music is what dates it more than anything else. (I've never seen either the Director's Cut or the Final Cut).
I liked the voiceover, even though it over-explained things at times. It did add to the film noir feel.
Gaff is still the shite, though. So sorry he isn't in the sequel.
