Still think the Preds are the best team in the west. They've really dominated the Blues over the last year plus.

I'd rank the west 1-8:

1) Preds
2) Blues
3) Jets
4) Knights
5) Kings
6) Hawks
7) Stars
8) Sharks

Been a lot of scoring this year. Come playoff time, I doubt that lasts, and some of these teams that don't have an elite goaltender or at least a top tier blueline are gonna regret it. Which is to say, Blues win the President's Trophy, Predators win the Cup.

I agree. I'd actually say the Blues top 4 and the Predators top 4 are even because I think the Blues top 4 is better in their own end while the Preds are definitely better in the o zone. I wish Dunn would play more over Bouwmeester.

But Rinne is playing on an elite level, and Allen is barely average right now. He doesn't see many shots so he doesn't have to be great but in the postseason he will have to be.

The teams are actually almost mirrors of each other. Elite top lines. Decent 2nd lines. Meh 3rd lines. 4th lines that do the dirty stuff and bring energy.

Goalies are always the difference.

Blues look really flat tonight. I think the game started late because some former players being honored before the game.

Patrik Berglund sucks.

Also if the Blues hadn't been so good offensively this year, everyone would be talking about how bad Jake Allen has been

It’s awfully early to rip on Berglund. He had his best year last year. I have also been disappointed with Allen. I expected him to play better. Special teams have been really crappy too.

I'm kidding on Berglund. It's one game lol. But I've never been a big fan. He's okay but not worth what they pay him.

Allen would be getting a lot of heat if the team around him weren't so good. He's playing pretty much at the level that he did last year when he got benched.

I was hoping Allen would pick up off from where he played at the end of last season.

Ducks acquire centers Adam Henrique, Joseph Blandisi and a 2018 third-round draft pick from the NJDevils for defenseman Sami Vatanen and a conditional draft pick.

Yeah, I'm trying to decide between Kings/Blues or Knights/Jets. Both should be good.

Derek Dorsett had to retire due to injuries at age 30. He had gotten off to a good start this year with the Canucks.

Oilers claim Nathan Walker off waivers from Caps. An Aussie in Edmonton lol.

This Florida/Carolina game is chippy as hell.

2 fights so far and various other gatherings/scuffles.
