Had my 1100 given to me in the early 1960's. It has a serial number of some sort on the receiver, M470816V. The barrel has a large W followed by smaller LV+2. Barrel is mod 28". I have an extra barrel somewhere around here. I don't know the meaning of these stamped letters.

I have my Dad's old 1100, made in either 70 or 71. Good old gun, has only jammed once due to needing a good cleaning.
