It is just CBS, well, and HBO and other PREMIUM channels.
Right. Well HBO go works as long as you have that through cable. But yeah they have a service that you can subscribe to. I am suprised CBS hasn't made an app to watch their shows like NBC and ABC does.

Big Brother, Survivor and Amazing Race are on their millionth seasons, so they are not doing to bad either.

They skew to an older audience, and thats why they win.
Big Bang, Survivor, Supergirl and Two Broke Girls is an older audience?
CBS skews toward cheapskates who are rocking digital antennas from Wal-Mart.
And NBC, ABC and CBS all get the senior citizen audience who don't know how to use Netflix and Hulu.

I don't imagine the Lawyer they just fired for her social media comments on Las Vegas will help them.

I like how, in the awesome Honest Trailer of Star Trek Next Gen, they say:
"Before Star Trek Discovery forces you to boldly subscribe where no one has subscribed before! (CBS All-Access)"

Big Bang and NCIS are two of the highest rated shows on TV.
And Bull is a pretty good show.

Five bucks. Half the price of ALL the movies with MoviePass will get you four hours of Star Trek. Seems like a ripoff to me.

So, so far...
We have Netflix paying for the bulk of the production (which looks awesome) and making money off of it already in every market but the U.S. and Canada.
CBS boosted their pay service with their biggest sign-up days ever.
CBS still has the option of showing the first season on CBS, after it's run for a year or two on CBS All Access. That'll lead into the 2019 season on CBS All Access, building the audience there.
Doesn't seem like that bad of a business model to me.

I think the problem that they are going to run up against is that people are not going to subscribe to more than a handful of services. CBS All Access is going to be at the bottom of the list unless they really screw the local affiliates and don't give them any live sports.

Every season of Star Trek is on Netflix as is Frasier. Discovery and I Love Lucy are my only reasons for having a CBS All Access Subscription.
They should have just aired this on broadcast TV or let it be a Netflix show though. Screw having multiple streaming services.

I tried to watch SWAT on the CBS app on my Roku. I saw that even though I have a Cox login, you have to pay for the app.
Guess what? I don't need to watch any CBS show that bad. I'm not 50+ yet, so I'll just wait until it shows up on Netflix. If it's anything like other CBS shows it's probably not that good anyway and is just formulaic drivel for the retired set.
Doesn't seem like a good tv model to me as I don't even care enough to pay $5.

I know that you aren't the smartest light bulb in the socket...but are you really surprised...that a show that made it's splash about a utopian future is a SJW wet dream?
It's like you guys just want to bitch simply for the sake of bitching sometimes.
