K'lavon Chaisson pronunciation

Growing up in South La. I know a lot of Chaissons. Does K'lavon pronounce his last name differently or is it a case of the announcers just not knowing how to pronounce it? When I hear the announcer say "Chase on" it just sounds strange to me!
I searched this but didn't see it discussed previously. Sorry if it has.

I have always know it pronounced as "Shesson" with the second syllable rhyming with "awn".
Hearing the "Chase" pronunciation is either wrong or the way its pronounced in Texas.

Hahaha... that's another one! I grew up with many Clements and the this name was always pronounced "Clay-Maw".
