The NFL has not renegotiated their tv deals in the last year, hence they haven't lost any money from loosing tv customers. Yet.

They had to give quite a bit back but I don't think they actually gave money back. I think they paid the debt by providing free advertising for those that were owed.

Seems to be about the same case for NASCAR. At the first of the season I remember seeing one of the top five drivers, an older one that I can't recall the name, but he said his team was losing their major sponsor at the end of this season.
Fandom seems to be be well below normal this season.
