Fortnite Battle Royale Out For Free (PS4, XB1, PC)

A mashup of Team Fortress style graphics and PUBG gameplay is out for free today. Anyone else giving it a download?

Was just about to make a thread about this.
I've never played PUBG so this concept is new to me, but it's pretty awesome. Funny thing is I would've never played or given this a shot had I not seen stuff about the feud between this game and PUBG.

I don't have a gaming PC so no PUBG for me but I know they're pursuing console releases. I like the cartoony aspect of Fortnite though

It's interesting, the maps seems small, but cool that you can build fortifications.
Complete 180 in terms of competitiveness compared to PUBG, its hard to make a comparison.

The building is pretty sweet too. I like to gather supplies then build a massive bridge above everything to move between areas

I know you can do a 4 man squad, either with invited friends or you can get matched with 3 randoms.

I will probably try it at some point since it is free, but I don't see anything pulling my friends and I from PUBG anytime soon.

tried 4 times tonight and quit. a lot of bullshite to wait through only to get shotgunned from behind and do it all over again

make sure u spawn on a roof and pickaxe through for an easy chest most games
