What are the black players trying to accomplish? What do they want to accomplish by having these protests?

My best guess is ensuring Trump is reelected.

Raising awareness of the issue of police brutality and injustice.

Seems to be working, you guys wouldn't have 20 threads on it today without the protests.

It was a legitimate protest (but ill conceived) until this past week.

Now it is to show that they don't like Trump and to try to get lots of likes on Twitter and from celebrities, etc.

It's either to demonstrate how much they hate the country that made them rich athletes or to demonstrate how intolerant they are of white presidents.

What happens when you adjust for % of the population each group represents?

Oh, right, your 'argument' falls apart.

Oops...

The mantra was "hope and change".

Hope was the method.
Change was the endpoint.

Change is their end game.
They'll get it!

Winning!

But this is rarely mentioned.

In fact this is the first in a long time.

Doubtful. Your post is the first time I've heard someone mention police brutality.

It is being portrayed as a protest against the national anthem, which is exactly what it looks like.

You live in quite the bubble.

Every once in a while you should endeavor to leave it. It's harming you.

Trump has made it all about him. Leftists are incapable of not taking the bait. Everything is about Trump.

I'm not sure about the end game, but constantly talking about it is helping whatever cause they're after. The only way to be sure this nonsense stops is to ignore it. They're getting exactly what they want: attention.

...And what does the National Anthem have to do with that? You don't really that naive that you believe this is the actual reason they are doing this do you?

A white Stanford swimmer gets a 6-month sentence for raping an unconscious woman. RAPING her. He served 3 months and it out and free in the world.

A black male who is abiding by an officer's instructions after getting pulled over who clearly informs the cop he has a concealed weapon gets shot 7 times, bleeds out, and dies in front of his girlfriend and her child. And that was a traffic stop.
