Trump's Continues to Blow Chances to Lead & Unite America

I come from an Army family that includes an 82nd Airborne "All American" father who jumped into WWII on D-Day, and an uncle that drove his tank across France in Patton's 1st Army all the way to the Battle of Bulge. I don't like kneeling for the Star Spangled Banner. Bothers me.
However, what my family has fought for are the rights to express our opinions such as this statement on race that players are making. It's not for me, but it is what "Makes America Great Again and Again."
It is clear that Donald has zero interest in uniting America because over and over he makes his mark by driving wedges against any and all American's that don't see everything his way. He won the election in part of shaking things up (not to mention running against the most unpopular public figure in our country), but also promised the "he and he alone," was the only person who could bring Americans together with common goals. Every step of the way he goes against this, and his approach is to demonize everybody who doesn't follow him 100% -- "The Great Intimidator." He has and will continue to fail at leadership. It sickened me to hear him speak glowing about Jeff Sessions in Alabama this week-end knowing that he has been publically trashing him brutally for months. Commander in Two-Face.
America needs a statesman or a stateswoman - not an insecure bully who is hell bent on accelerating a race, culture, and class war that is tearing the US apart.

The left plays dirty. And that's ok.
But now, Trump is playing dirty, and they want to whine about it.

If by uniting you mean capitulate to continued moving demands, yes, he failed

Yea, he's blown an opportunity to unite with people shouting "RESIST".

Yes, he has no intention of uniting anyone.

It really isn't even his fault at this point.

He is being slaughtered at every turn.
We see the death throes of a monster.
Mueller is driving him crazy.
Congress is driving him crazy.
Nothing is going right.

We have an entire sub-culture for whom "uniting" amounts to "let us berate you and you accept it"
There's no "uniting" with that shite.

Besides his indirect effect on the stock market, he has been a failure thus far.
I am interested to see how long this bull market lasts before the correction. I predict the correction comes when he fails to pass a tax bill through congress.

Hmmm... at the beginning of your post I thought you were pro free speech. And then as I read more it is apparent that you are pro free speech but only for some people. hmmm....
