Tell them to do the world a favor and kill themselves

I try to play like I’m oblivious to their negativity & act over the top happy/positive. I’ll be damned if I’m going to let a miserable bitch know she’s getting to me.

I tell LCA and Terd that Jesus loves them just the same as he does me.

I don't. Not for long anyway.

At first i would try to reason with them. Then i started to realize that that was a waste of time. So i don't deal with them. But if you have to, limit it to one minute a day

Ignore them and surround yourself with likeminded individuals if you're over 30 and have a family. You are who you are at this point, and the stresses of daily life do not need to be supplemented by arguing with people in a social environment.
If you are young, surround yourself with as many people who oppose you as possible, it builds character and strength to fight for what you think is right, as well as provides opportunities to expand your mind.

Successful people generally avoid crippling negativity. And by "crippling negativity" I mean the kind that erodes basic confidence in one's ability to accomplish anything at all.
I wouldn't beat yourself up over that. Your brain is telling you that you don't like those people and it is a good thing. Just realize you probably won't change them without expending a great deal of effort over a long period of time, and that kind of effort probably isn't worth it.

I tell them the shake machine is broken to make them feel worse.

I smile, remember I'm 47 and retired, have a beautiful wife 14 years younger than me, enough money to do what I want, and move on with my life.
If you go around getting mad at every moronic a-hole you encounter in life, you are always going to be mad.

Tell them to take a knee
