Announcement finally came after a $50 million donation by David Booth. Also building a new indoor practice facility, a big renovation of the baseball stadium, and building a new volleyball arena, so $350m total.

i'm pretty sure this wont help that much. Kansas is just not a great spot for recruiting football talent

Should have instead invested that money into food for Mangino to entice him back.

Won't matter, but that's cool for the Lawrence. Having Booth as a very active donor doesn't hurt.

crazy, but when the packers did their big reno of Lambeau with the brick and seating expansion I believe that was 360 million. For that enormous project.

That looks nice but feels like a total waste of money. Nobody cares about football at Kansas...not the public at-large and not the students.
Why not make Allen Fieldhouse Jerry-World? Spend the money there making it the greatest college basketball stadium in America. That's all that matters at Kansas. They already paid millions of dollars for the official rules of basketball.

If you build it.........they still won't come its frickin Kansas football

They could have at least made the stadium crowd look real. There are WAY too many fans in that stadium. Neex to remove about 25,000 of them from the drawings then we get a good glimpse

You not Jayhawk Conference? The football program failures fall squarely on Roy Williams and the hiring of the fatass.

Wut?
First class up the arena.
More screens, better seats, better food. You can't improve?
Renovations aren't only germaine to outdoor facilities...you can renovate indoor stadiums.

Bring back the magic
The man went 12-1 and won an Orange Bowl. At Kansas. He's clearly the greatest coach ever.
